Employment Generation Opportunities ideas apart from the usual Industries:
- Public Washrooms can generate 2,25,000 jobs + Revenue for the State + Boost Tourism + Civic Sense – 51,349 Villages – Each village can have 3 sets of Washroom Complex, 1 set having 10 Toilets and 4 Bathrooms.
- To maintain these, we can have 4 dedicated employee
- 51,349 * 4 = 2,05,396
- 5 major Cities can have 20 Washroom Complex each, and Bhubaneswar can have 50 Washroom Complex employing around 300 people
- All major Highways and roads combined length is approx 2,37,000 (Rural – 2,27, 000km – Click Here + National Highway – 10,000km – Click Here) – Even if we create Washroom Complex every 50 km then, total Washroom Complex will be around 4740 and each Washroom Complex can be managed by 4 Employees giving rise to (4740 * 4) Employment Generation of around 18,960
- Total Employment Generation for around 2,25,000 person
- Salary – 20,000 * 4 employee per village = 80,000 per village or Road Side Washroom Complex, this revenue can be easily generated by each village over a period of time as and when acceptability increases and with the development of a hygienic culture and tourism
- Creation of dedicated Running, Cycling & Byking Corridors – Will attract Tourists, would be beneficial for native Odia peoples in terms of health and fitness and creation of a Sports Culture. These corridors should pass through dense forests and rivers and nature. The corridors could be the following:
- Bhubaneswar to Balasore Corridor
- Bhubaneswar to Rourkela via Sambalpur Corridor (Brahmani Corridor)
- Mahanadi Corridor from Paradeep-Cuttack-Satkosia-Sambalpur via dense forests
- Satkosia to Phulabani to Kalahandi
- Brahmapur to Phulabani Corridor (Rusikulya Corridor)
- Bansadhara River Corridor
- Brahmapur to Malkanagiri Corridor
- Bramhampur to Koraput Corridor
- Brahmapur to Daringibadi Corridor
- Bhubaneswar to Puri to Chilika Lake to Gopalpur Corridor
- Malkangiri to Bhawanipatna to Balangir Corridor
- Nawrangpur to Titlagarh to Sonepur to Baragarh Corridor
- These corridors could give employment to at least 20,000 Persons
- Riverfront Development of all the major rivers nearby all major cities, at least 50 km each and upto 100 km in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack
- This will give employment to at least 10,000 Persons
- Traffic Violation Detector – 20,000 Persons can be employed whose only job is to detect traffic violation with proof and issue e-challan, they should not have any uniform and mostly anonymous. If implemented this would reduce a lot of accidents and will contribute to the environment in a better way as these employs will also flag vehicles which cause pollution.
- For the first 5 years, revenue will be generated by the violators of State residents only, then our people will be careful and violation will be less, then we will implement strict vigilance in Highways, any vehicle of other states not following traffic guidelines need to be penalized heavily
- Corruption Detectors – 20,000 Persons can be employed who would anonymously track and monitor Government Employees and places of Corruption silently, revenue generation will be the seizure of all assets of the Corrupt
- Government-backed Integrated Farming – Government will take up big land holdings, work will be equally assigned among those who want employment, owners of the land will get fixed profit share and workers to get salaries – Can generate 1,00,000 jobs at the least.
- 314 Super-speciality Hospitals in 314 blocks creating around 30,000 jobs
All these are futuristic huge revenue generator machines, if implemented properly not only these would create jobs but the revenue potential will be huge as Odisha will be the place for Tourism and all the majority of the employees hired on these could be Multi-purpose employees who can work on each of these projects and transferable.
