“Climate Emergency – A poem of Protest “
Its not that long when I experienced my 1st Cyclone,
The Year was 99 and it was utter devastation,
They called it super Cyclone and it was complete destruction..
new millennium started with faster communication & innovation,
Development, development & more development,putting everything in hyper action..
pace was high,there ain’t no place for trees,animals or emotions..
The race between developing & developed nations is the reason for this traction..
Haves won’t allow haven’ts to be equal leading to revolution..
This ain’t positive as either wont sacrifice money or modernization..
The West & some have good air,water,food & less population & pollution..
The West expects others to sacrifice their future and to give up,their aspirations of future generations..
For the West had already raped the environment and it’s time for their redemption..
Announcing climate emergency by a few countries is latest fashion..
If serious why don’t they adopt another poor nation or share research & technologies,instead they impose sanction..
For its easy for them as they had finished with their share of devastation & ready with reservation…
My country whether it’s backward,developing or crowded.Its growing fast & will need time yet I am declaring Climate Emergency as an intention…
For we need true change as we are encountering frequent cyclones, droughts, temperature rise ,uneven rainfall & ozone depletion..
For my birds,for my animals,for my trees of this beautiful creation,
I am declaring Climate Emergency on behalf of the world for Life To be in MOTION
Note: From 2013 onwards,Cyclone is a regular affair in Bay of Bengal and it mostly hits my State and my city.
